The man struck the ground and the reptile with the stick several times to scare it away while keeping himself safe. After a few determined attempts, the Komodo dragon finally released the puppy’s leg and retreated into the wilderness.
The exhausted puppy lay trembling on the ground, finally free. The rescuer gently comforted the frightened little dog, spoke to him softly, and offered him fresh water. The puppy slowly calmed down, grateful to be safe after such a terrifying ordeal.
